ARM: tegra: initial add of Apalis T30 2GB This patch adds the device tree to support Toradex Apalis T30, a computer on module which can be used on different carrier boards. The module consists of a Tegra 30 SoC, two PMIC, DDR3L RAM, eMMC and a Intel Ethernet Controller I210. The Ethernet Controller is connected through the PCI-E bus. If the IGB driver is enabled, the Ethernet Controller is detected by the PCI subsystem. Automatic detection has been tested and proved functional. Furthermore, there is a STMPE811, a SGTL5000 audio codec, and two MCP2515 SPI CAN interfaces which are not yet supported. Anything that is not self contained on the module is disabled by default. The device tree for the Evaluation Board includes the modules device tree and enables the supported pheripherials of the carrier board (the Evaluation Board supports almost all of them). PCI-E works for PCI-E x4 and is proved functional too. PCI-E x1 is connected through a Hub which is not yet tested. The wakeup key is defined by the Apalis standard as wakeup pin for resume.
ARM: tegra: initial add of Colibri T30 This patch adds the device tree to support Toradex Colibri T30, a computer on module which can be used on different carrier boards. The module consists of a Tegra 30 SoC, two PMIC, DDR3L RAM, eMMC and a AX88772B USB Ethernet Controller. Furthermore, there is a STMPE811 and SGTL5000 audio codec which are not yet supported. Anything that is not self contained on the module is disabled by default. The device tree for the Evaluation Board includes the modules device tree and enables the supported pheripherials of the carrier board (the Evaluation Board supports almost all of them). The wakeup key is definied by the Colibri standard as wakeup pin for resume.
powerpc: Don't try to set LPCR unless we're in hypervisor mode Commit 8f619b5429d9 ("powerpc/ppc64: Do not turn AIL (reloc-on interrupts) too early") added code to set the AIL bit in the LPCR without checking whether the kernel is running in hypervisor mode. The result is that when the kernel is running as a guest (i.e., under PowerKVM or PowerVM), the processor takes a privileged instruction interrupt at that point, causing a panic. The visible result is that the kernel hangs after printing "returning from prom_init". This fixes it by checking for hypervisor mode being available before setting LPCR. If we are not in hypervisor mode, we enable relocation-on interrupts later in pSeries_setup_arch using the H_SET_MODE hcall. Assorted cleanups and fixes, plus a large preparatory part of iov_iter work. There's a lot more of that, but it'll probably go into the next merge window - it *does* shape up nicely, removes a lot of boilerplate, gets rid of locking inconsistencie between aio_write and splice_write and I hope to get Kent's direct-io rewrite merged into the same queue, but some of the stuff after this point is having (mostly trivial) conflicts with the things already merged into mainline and with some I want more testing.
